Hey Sugar cups!


I am very syked about this post. I am a big ,,no no "HUGE" lipstick addict .

And being that i try different shades and color. There was a particular color i was looking for from a long time which is a "Berry Red" with blue undertone. But me being a budget person i was not getting the color in my budget. And then my prayers were been answerd *** Lets cut my drama***

So here it is the NEW ADDITION to my collection is from my very trusted brand COLORBAR.
Colorbar is an Indian Cosmetics brand which has some amazing product line


Shade :- Wild Mauve 039



















Packaging:- It comes in its all steel packing which looks very funky and stylish. Colobar has different style of packaging for their each range, and this range has undoubtedly the best packaging in the lot.


Texture:- Matte Touch Lipstick

My View:- Well color is hand down "GORGEOUS". Love , love , love it :). Well as they say "Nothing is Perfect" , same way only drawback of this gorgeousness is it bleeds . It gets smudged very easily, transfer easily. Color claims to be  "Matte Finish" color but it looks more like cream Finish after application.
But had it been in a pure "Matt Finish" like there other Matte range it could have been a  BOMB!!!

So what i do is make it matt. After applying the lipstisck pat some translucent powder on it. Thats it. But this has to repeated every time you touch up :( . How i wish this was in matte, which a non trasfer formula. Hmmm i hope Colobar re-launches this beautiful shade in a better formulation.




Now, would i buy it Again??

I might purely for the color, but for the formula NO. But for now what ever it is i m in love with this shade :).

Anyways that's it from now , will be back with something interesting.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Primer

I like Rimmel London's cosmetics for the given fact that they are very affordable . But the  only downfall is they don't have any wide variety to choose from.

So today its gonna be a review on one of their 3 Face Primer's. 

It Rimmel London's Lasting Finish Face Primer. As the name suggests it is supposed to help stay the makeup in place for LONG. 

Packaging:- It comes in a plastic tube pack which i am ok with. Travel friendly too. Very basic packing nothing fancy.




Consistency:- Its a cream based Primer.


My Experience:-
Well to begin with lets start on good note i.e it does help stay makeup in place for long with a decent coverage.

Now not so good part, it feels like a medicated lotion. Cream is white in color and a bit oily which makes it a good option to get that dewy finish look. But if you stay in humid country like me, this may not be a good option.


It feels light on skin but you still feel you have a coat on your face.

Overall an average Primer.


Now the question is will i but it again ?

Maybe Not. I might try out the Matte finish primer from Rimmel London.

LA Splash Lip Couture

Wassup!!
So today is a lippies review day. This one is my first non transfer lip color.
LA Splash lip couture has some pretty amazing and interesting colors. Girls trust me when I say interesting they have couple colors in Blue.
Well me being me I tried out two very safe colors . And the shade got names YaY!!! "innocent vixen" and "till midnight".
Innocent Vixen is a very nude matte color.And is tricky on application only because of the shade. It tend to form a crease in the outer lip line but can be managed with a lip line tough.
Till Midnight is a very beautiful red with orange undertone. It's such a lovely color and can complement fair to dusky so n tone. And its mattifying effect make it stand out.
















Application:- Well it come with a doe foot applicator which makes the application easy. But doesn't quite help in case of blending. Unlike other non transferable lipstick these tend to dry up soon . So any touch up if required has to be done before it dries off. They are matte after they dry, so it is advisable to moisturize your lips before hand. It has a scent kindda like acrylic paint. But it completely vanishes after application.
Note:- after applying the color don't rub the lips like we always do .
Staying Power:- 6-7 hours.
Removal:- well it is a real task to get these color off your lips. I tried coconut oil,and makeup remover. But Maybelline's oil based makeup remover removes the color like a Pro.




So the question is,will I buy it again?
May be try out other shades :-)

Lakme Lipstick Review

Hey Beauties,

This review is going to be on a very well know Indian Brand. We Indian woman  have grown hearing about  this brand's ,admiring its product and we still do. A very well know cosmetics giant in India "LAKME".

Many of the lipsticks that i am reviewing are still available at few store however the company has changed the packaging recently.

Most recently Lakme did introduce its new range in Lakme Sculpt HD lipsticks, which did catch the eyes of many women and uplifted its bar in terms of Product variety. And yes with HI-End quality the price is on higher end , unlike the Lakme regular line which was very affordable.


Here are my collections from 4 different ranges.



Lakme Absolute Gloss

First one is a recent purchase its from Lakme Absolute Gloss range. Its called Berry Rose. And OMG!!! what a pretty glossy pink it is. Pigmentation is ok, The interesting part is its a Gloss Lipstick which is again a new invention. Very hydrating and it does make lips fuller. 


Lakme Absolute Matte 

Red Hot 43 is from Lakme Absolute Matte range, and this was my first purchase from the Lakme Absolute line. I love this Red. It have brown under tone . Beautiful color but tends to dry lips a bit. But i can i would ignore that because of this gorgeous shade.


Lakme 9to5 range

MB 9 Cabrnet Category is from Lakme 9to5 range. As this line claims lipstick stay from 9 am to 5 pm. Well it fairly holds its claim true. The interesting feature is it has a matte effect but consistency is very smooth and doesn't dries off lips.


MP2 Pink Colar is Lakme 9to6 Creaseless line. It claims that after application of this lipstick creases on lips wont be visible. Ahhh!!! It does fails to fulfill its claim unfortunately. But the color payoff and pigmentation is definitely a plus.

Satin Enrich

Satin Enrich 154 is the authentic Lakme range. This range consists of  "Satin Finish", "Pear Finish" only. And this color is my goto for any Ethnic wear. Its such a beautiful Fuschia  or what we Indians call "Rani Pink". Love  It. Pigmentation is lovely.
P.S:- wore this shade on my wedding day, so it is special.


Satin Enrich 532 is again from same line like last one. And i just adore this color. This is a very beautiful brown and i swear havent seen it in any other brand. And Damn! the color pay off is a top class. Staying power is average .




Overall I truly believe Lakme now have all the potential to be an international brand. Be it their makeup range or their skin care range , it has upgraded its quality to another level all together.

Now the question is...Will i re-purchase these shades???

The Bodyshop Spa Fit toning Oil

So I got this little pack on sale. I thought its a good buy but I was not sure.
Well let me tell you ladies,it is a Pretty good buy . We are talking about The Body shop's body toner oil from the Spa Fit range.


Claims:-
Moisturizing massage oil for more toned looking skin. Massage into dry skin using Spa Fit massage technique. Do not apply on face.


My Views:- Firstly "when it should be used" is not mentioned anywhere on the bottle,secondly I ain't aware of Spa Fit technique . So any commoner like me if gets this will not clearly understand its usage.
So I went ahead and tried couple of combinations on when to use this product. I tried it before working out,after working out even at night before going to bed. For me the best fit was before the work out. Massage it into your skin in circular motion. It's a very light oil hence after few swipes skin absorbs it completely. And from experience I am saying it needs to be massaged thoroughly. Considering the fact every body type is different so is the skin, some may not see the effect at all initially as it claims. But I feel the high point of this product is its moisturizing quality as it makes skin instantly look alive.
As far as the fragrance goes,it is a citrus based oil , and a bit  heavy on it. But after sometime it fades away. But those who like me are not big on strong citrus fragrance , well you can mix it with lavender or rosemary oil and you will be sorted.
Note:- For dry skin it can be a very good option to get that instant "Healthy Looking Skin".

So the question is ... Will I buy it again??

Essence Nail Polish Review

Hey Pretty Bees,

As I always tell I am a nail polish addict.

Today I have another nail polish review from one of my favorite brand Essence.
The color I have here is called "Chic Reloaded". It's a pretty sassy color and pretty complex in undertones. Sometimes it gives green undertone and under sun gives purple undertone. The base color is steel. Amazing shade, pretty funky and uncommon.

Now coming to packaging it comes in the regular Essence packaging.

USP of Essence nail polishes are its wide wand which make the application effortless and flawless.
Well currently this shade definitely tops the chart for me.

Here i have used a non-branded blue glitters nail polish to give that edgy look.

CUCCIO Nail Color Review

Hey Y'all,
Today it will be a nail color review. Now this one is straight from Italy.
They have pretty amazing shades in their nail color range and what's exciting is they contain glitters.
Yes,yes you heard it right a glittered nail paint. And texture is just PERFECT I say!.
One that I own is a very pop bubble gum pink with tiny-miny gold particles. It slightly gives a monotone of gold. But not tat noticeable.
Packaging :- Sterdy, Classy ( O.P.I ish)
Color payoff:- Needs to be coated 2-3 times to get the actual color.
Lasting Capacity:- 4-5 days ( it did not chip off .at least on my nails)
Price:- INR 675 (priecy for Indian market).But if you want a good nail color , this is your pick.

i-Tokri small haul :) :)

Hello There!!

We are going to do a small review on my latest mini haul. I bumped into this online site called i-Tokri.com. And believe me you guys this site has some AHH-Mazing stuff . The best thing about them is they are promoting many of our long lost art with a modern twist to it. From Kolhapuri Chappal to Rajasthani Tribal silverware. You name it you get it.

I am a huge bun-sticks fan. You can say i love collecting them :P.

So here again i kindda was eyeing on these two pretties on their site.

Funky , Ethnic, Stylish.

I am SUPER impressed by the Design and quality . There are many wooden one's too that you can choose from.

Now comes the most cute part of the whole deal. Well first when i open the parcel i see the stuff that i ordered plus an additional set of a gift marking my first purchase with them. A pair of beautiful earring. And beautiful of all a hand written note (reckon that is by a little girl).

Now i not only love their stuff but now i like the their approach to reach people too.

Hope I will visit them soon...
